African Entrepreneurs

Today marks a significant milestone in our commitment to economic development across Africa. The House of Mandela Foundation is proud to announce the launch of our African Entrepreneurship Initiative, a comprehensive program designed to support 500 entrepreneurs across 12 nations.

Building on Mandela's Vision

Nelson Mandela believed that economic freedom was essential for true liberation. This initiative embodies that vision by providing aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools, resources, and support needed to create sustainable businesses that uplift their communities.

Program Components

Our comprehensive approach includes seed funding up to $50,000 per entrepreneur, mentorship from successful business leaders across the diaspora, technical skills training in business management and financial literacy, and access to regional and international market networks.

"Money won't create success, the freedom to make it will."

— Nelson Mandela

Impact Across Borders

The program spans South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Senegal, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. By fostering entrepreneurship across these nations, we're creating a network of economic empowerment that transcends borders.

Application Process

Applications are now open for qualifying entrepreneurs. We're seeking individuals with innovative business ideas that address local challenges while creating employment opportunities within their communities.
